Ann Beebe, violin
Associate Concertmaster of the Omaha Symphony, Ann Beebe has been a member of the Orchestra since 1987. She enjoys private teaching and chamber music as adjuncts to her orchestral career. A love for chamber music was instilled early through participation in a quartet performance class at her high school in Winnetka, Illinois. Ann finds additional opportunities to perform chamber music as well as symphonic repertoire during the summer at the Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Prior to coming to Omaha, Ann played in the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra and served as concertmaster for Chamber Orchestra Oklahoma City. She received bachelor and master degrees from the Indiana University School of Music, where she studied with James Buswell.
